I find life interesting and people interesting. In life we're told to take opportunities and try new things. Yet for some people doing something different or doing something new they don't take the opportunities that are presented to them. One thing I've learned over the past year while doing alternative outside the normal classroom education is if I hadn't taken the opportunity that presented itself I don't know where I'd be. Who I'd be or what I'd be doing. I've tried thinking about it but then I think of all the stuff that wouldn't have happened if I wasn't in these programs. I wouldn't know the people I know and I wouldn't have had the experiences I've had. Yes maybe not all the experiences I've had are good ones but I've learned from the bad and the good and they've made me who I am today. They changed me from what I once was to what I am now. Just like anyone else.
I've been in multiple debates on whether these programs that don't take place in a traditional class room are good. I believe they are. I don't believe everyone should have to get their education the same. We're all different people so why not get our education differently? We all learn differently and are different people so why not take the opportunity to go outside the normal class room and learn a little differently. You still learn what you would in a normal class room but you also learn other life lessons that will stay with you. In the end does it really matter the mark we got? I know years from know I wont remember the mark I got in a certain class. I know that I wont care about it. I may care a bit now to get into the post secondary option I want. But the marks I have now wont matter to me later, because in the end they are just marks. A number on a piece of paper that society uses to define us. But what I will remember is the things I did and whether I made the most out of what I was offered. The experience I had, the people I met and the bridges I built along the way. Those are the things that I will remember the things I want to remember. Not that I stayed up late finishing some homework for some class where I didn't have fun. I know a lot of people will argue differently. I understand that not everyone learns like this. Not everyone believes that this is a good way of learning. That it is better to sit behind a desk and have facts thrown at them instead of applying them to real life. I get that, that it's some peoples way of learning. Just not mine. I'd rather get my education and enjoy doing it instead of regretting the things I didn't do and regret the opportunities I passed on.
One ting I've learned and that I will always carry through life is it is better to take the opportunity that has presented itself instead of wishing you did something. Just do it and see where life will lead you. You never know where you'll end up or the things you'll learn. Life will be a rocky ride but if you don't have fun and do/try new things you'll go through life not knowing anything and not having fun experiencing new things. Life is about taking the opportunities that present themselves and seeing where they'll take you.

The Best Moments At School
Okay so the new school year is very close. We're in the home stretch, only days left. Yes that's depressing to some. So today I've decided to talk about the good moments in school. All the stuff that makes every students day. So let's get started.
#1 The Substitute Teacher
There is nothing better than the feeling of walking into a class and there being a substitute. Unless its one of your favorite classes like an elective and they just butcher the class. Trust me that's happened before and its not fun. Anyways, everyone loves when a substitute is in the class. They never know what's going on or the class rules, so usually people can get away with a lot. Unless they're strict. Then it's just never fun n at all. But when you get the laid back sub that gives you basically free time to socialize that class turns into one of the best classes of day.

#2 Field Trips
Field trips are probably one of my favorite things about school. I don't know why but being able to get out of a class too and actually seeing something up close is just better to me. Yes sometimes the field trips aren't fun or really boring. But sometimes they can actually be fun. Besides half the fun is when you're on the bus you have lots of time to socialize with your friends or listen to music, maybe catch up on some gossip. You have to admit it's better than just sitting in a class with a another boring talk about something, because let's admit we've all had those classes where we can't wake up. So to me filed trips are one of the best things.

#3 Fire Drills
Okay, to some this may not be a big deal, or you may be thinking: how are fire drills a good thing? Well at my school for some reason the fire alarm seems to go off at just the right time. We've had the alarm go off during our exams for the past 3 years. I have no idea why but it always seems to happen. The only complaint is during the winter semester when its 30 below and you freeze. But at least you have time to talk to people about your exam. Fire drills are also good when you're in the middle of a lesson that's either boring or you r falling asleep. Now I'm not saying fire drills are only good for those reasons. I know that they are important and that they are for our safety. But you have to admit you felt that little bit of happiness when you know it's a drill and you get out of class.

#4 Early Dismissal
I like everyone else love early dismissals. They make my day sometimes. My school used to have this thing where you get out a half hour earlier on the first Monday of every month. Which was awesome. The whole day was shifted and we'd have shorter classes. But this year they got rid of them, saying they interrupted the students learning. It was one day a month everyone looked forward to and they got rid of it. But there are some times other early dismissals. Like a teacher lets you out early for lunch, or everyone's done everything and you get out early at the end of the day. Either way everyone loves early dismissals, it gives you a few extra moments of freedom.

#5 Movies
Okay class today we are going to be watching a movie.... whole class silently cheers. Movies in class may be one of the best things. I love watching movies in class. Especially when its an actual good movie. I remember one year in English class watching She's The Man. Best 2 classes of my English semester. We had no work to do but watch the movie. It was great.

#6 The Teacher Wasting Time
Now the teacher wasting time is always a nice little surprise. Either they rant on and on about their life and the things going on in it. Then the class plays therapist and is like tell me more. Tell me more so we don't have to do this lecture you had planed. Or it could be the teacher doesn't know how to set up tech stuff or they forgot something and they leave the room. Its awesome because you get a little bit a freedom till they get back. But if you had a class that i had one year we would usually end up getting in trouble because we would mess around and be super loud while our teacher was gone. Bur hey we've all done it at one point. Don't lie.

Okay so there are a few of the good things that happen while you're in school. I know schools just a few days a way and you don't want to be thinking about it. But think about the good little surprises that will make your day when they happen, like a sub. Or an early dismissal, maybe a field trip. Either way school is close we cant change that.

Different Types of People You Meet in Life
In your life time you come across a lot of different people. Sometimes they're good people and they're around for a while, but sometimes they are nothing but a menace to you and hopefully aren't around for long. Today I'm going to be talking about the different types of people you meet in your life. I'm going be focusing on three different types for now, but there will be a part two eventually. So no matter who you are, or where you are in your life eventually you will come across all of these types of people. So let's get started.
#1 The Back Stabbers
I think anyone who's encountered a back stabber was friends with them at one point. These are some of the worst people I've ever known. I will admit I've been friends with some back stabbers. -Not fun times- At one point you were the people I trusted with stuff and you turned around and did the worst things possible. To you people I say why? What would make you want to back stab a person who called you friend? Do you think it's going to make you more popular or were you pressured to do it? It's people like you that make it hard to trust others, because of you anyone who you back stabbed will never trust you again. You broke a friendship, and most likely lost a friend. I don't know why people like to back stab or throw others under the bus, I don't see what it accomplishes for you. You know what else, to all you people who have ever back stabbed or spread stuff around about a person you want to know what you look like to other people? You look like an ass. - Not gunna lie- To the by standers and the people you throw under the bus you suck. No one will trust you or want to tell you anything personal because what if they're your next victim of back stabbing? No one likes a back stabber.I'm sure everyone has encountered this type of person. If you have you know the feeling of betrayal and trust that's been broken. But trust me you are not the only one. Eventually this happens to all of us at one point. maybe on a small scale or maybe something that changes your life forever. What ever it is eventually we all get back stabbed. All that matters is how you deal with it. If this person is someone you held close cut them loose, say goodbye. You don't want this person in your life they're nothing but toxic to you. Surround yourself with the friends that wont break your trust. Yes it maybe hard especially if you've been friends for a while, I know. But trust me it's worth it.
#2 The Judges
I kind of covered this in my last post: Rant: Judgmental Society and Babysitters. But I'm going to cover it a little bit more right now. Let's face it we all hate critics and judges. They judge every little thing you do and every flaw you have. They are the people who nit pick at everything and can tear you apart. I will admit everyone is judgmental in their life time. I've been judgmental I will admit it, and if you say you have never judge anyone or anything then you're in denial. No matter who you are or what you do you have judged someone at some point in your life. Don't lie, we've all done it we all do it. It's part of human nature. But it's the people who are constantly judging and picking you apart that I hate. The people who publicly pick you apart, and make snap judgments at you. No matter what you do there will always b critics that hate on you. There are probably people reading this right now that are judging and hating on me. But guess what? To you people who hate find a different hobby. You hate what I write don't read it. You hate who I am we don't have to be friends. Judge me all you want I'm not changing for you. If you just hate on people all your life you'll never find the good and happiness you want. You'll be bitter and that's no way to live your life. I know that in society we can't stop judging one another. But I'm asking on be half of everyone, keep your comments to yourself. No one wants to hear you judging and picking apart anyone. If you do then get a new hobby.#3 The Invisible
These people are often the most interesting people you will encounter. The invisible are people you meet on the street or in class or in your work that are invisible. They can be silent and keep to themselves. Sit in the back of the class and if they're away they wont be missed by many. They can be the people who keep their heads down as they walk through the streets. They are the people you wont really remember or sometimes not even acknowledge. They blend in with everyone and don't immediately stand out as anyone special. They are just another face in the crowd. Yet you start talking to them and they can be one of the most incredible people you will ever know. I know some people like this. They're quiet and sometimes shy, yet once you get to know them they are some of the best people to know. These are the people who can go through life and never be acknowledged or remembered, but can be the very person that can be the most unique and interesting.
These are three of the many different types of people you meet in your life time. If you meet the judges or the back stabbers, cut those people out of your life as quick as you can. If you come across an invisible start up a conversation, you never know were it may go. I hope you enjoyed today's post. There will be a part two that will come in the future, so if you enjoyed this post keep a look out for next part.

Rant: Our Judgmental Society and Babysitters
Our society is very judgmental. Our world just assumes everything with out any fact or content to back it up. Today I'm going to be ranting on our judgmental society and how they view young people who have kids with them. Now I'm not saying that they are their mothers or fathers. This is simply about the people who babysit and are assumed by society to be a parent of the child they are with.
So I babysit a lot. And so do some of my friends. Which isn’t bad at all. But what is awkward is when every person you see just assumes whatever kid you’re with is your kid. They take one look at you and are like
So I babysit a lot. And so do some of my friends. Which isn’t bad at all. But what is awkward is when every person you see just assumes whatever kid you’re with is your kid. They take one look at you and are like
They sometimes
ask you even. Is that your kid? Sometimes it’s just the looks you get from them. It’s
like no. They’re not my kid. What if they were my sibling? Or a relative?
Or just someone I babysit for? Just because I have a child with me does not
mean it’s my kid. Society takes one look at you and just assumes everything.
And sometimes they can be way off. Just because I am a teen does not mean I had
a kid already. Or sometimes I think: how old do you think I am? Like a kid could be 6-8 and I could be 16/17 and
you think I had this kid. How old do you think I am? Do you think I’m older
than I actually am? Or do you honestly think I had a kid when I was 10? To be
honest for most people I know that’s not even possible. To some girls back then boys had cooties. To others the guys were just friends nothing else. Back when we were all little we had no idea what dating even was. Sometimes now a days people still don't know what it is.
What is this thing you call dating?
To all of you people out
there who just assume that I or any other teen or young person who has a child
with them that is not theirs. This is what I say to you:
Why are you so
quick to judge? Why do you just assume that I have a kid? Yes I’m at this play
center with a child, that way the kid can have some fun. Meet some friend’s
enjoy themselves. Why are you death staring at me like this is my kid? I
babysit. So what? Do you have a problem with that? You know its babysitters or
relatives that look after your kid while you go to work or go for a night out. So
why are you judging a young person with a kid? They are usually a babysitter.
Just like the ones you pay to watch your kid. So STOP JUDGING!
Now I do
understand that some young people do have kids. But even if they do, don’t be
judging them. You don't have the right to judge, only Judges get to judge. I'm pretty sure most of society does not have a job of being a Judge. You don’t know how the person you see had that kid. Maybe it was a mistake
maybe it wasn’t. Usually it’s their decision. Unless the government gets rid of
abortions. But that’s another rant for another time. Anyways cut them some slack. Stop your judging
and staring. You have no idea what that child is to that person. It could be theirs
or it could not be. Either way don’t judge, no assumptions. I know I’m not the
only one who thinks this. Like I said at the beginning my friends babysit too,
they get the same assumptions.
Okay so this was mostly about me saying stop judging. But it's true. I hate when society just thinks of one thing with out knowing any of the reason behind it. So if you are one of those people who just look at a young person with a child and assumes that it's theirs. Stop it. It's people like you I can't stand sometimes. But if you're one of those people who has been judged like so many have. I know what it's like believe me, you're not the only one who gets that from society.
One last note to society, and repetitive i know but.....

Different Types of People at School on the First Day
Okay so as we all know back to school season is here.Which means shopping for school supplies, clothes, the perfect out fit for the first day back, finding out what classes your friends are in, the list goes on. I know a lot of people at this time of year do whole posts on clothes and school supplies, so I thought I'd do something a little different. So today I'm going to be talking about the different types of people at school on the first day. So lets get started. :)
#1 The New Bees
Okay so we all know who these people are. They are either the people who just moved to your town and stated going to your school this year. Or they are the freshmen just entering your school. Either way they have no idea what to do, where to go, anything. Yes we were all new bees at one point in our lives. I remember my first day of high school and how disastrous that was. I remember being so excited to be there like OMG I'm finally in high school! This is awesome! Which it was. Until it came time to finding my first class. My school has 2 levels and is rather confusing if you don't how to get upstairs. Which for lucky me my first class was science on the second level. I know how lame that sounds but the way my school is laid out they have these doors that lead out side - shocker - but they have an alcove. and some have stairs which lead you upstairs, but some are just and alcove that lead no where but outside. The amount of doors that just lead you outside is crazy. Anyways I kept coming to these alcoves that lead no where. I had no idea how to get upstairs. Eventually I gave up and just ask some people. I ended up finding my class, but I never felt like more of a new bee than that moment. I have sympathy for new bees that get lost or have no idea what they're doing. But only for a short time and as long as they're not rude. Which brings me to my next category.
#2 The Obnoxiously Rude People
These are the people who decide they're gunna make your day horrible. If you're a new be they tend to go after you and mock you for being new in any way possible. Or they could be the people who think they rule the school. They stand in the middle of the hallway on both sides so you don't have a hope of squeezing through the groups. So in your attempt to get through you look like your being rude when you push through. Not gunna lie I've been on both ends of that. Standing with a group of people taking up the entire hallway and being the one who pushes by. I know not everyone who stands in the middle of the hallway is trying to be rude. But guess what, the way you are perceived by people trying to get to their class is rude. These people could also be the ones who stand off to the side and mock you as you walk by. I don't know why but obnoxiously rude people just try to make your day hell, whether it's the first day or not.
#3 The Princess for a Day
These are the girls and sometimes guys who have their outfit planed out for the first day in advanced by like 2 weeks. They wake up early and do everything possible to look their absolute best. They'll have their nails done, hair perfected, make up done, an outfit that's stunning and brand new everything. They usually look amazing on the first day, but on the second day or after the first week they're wearing track pants no make up and no style. They're the ones who want to look amazing on the first day and make an impression, but then they realize its the same old people you've known forever and then give up trying to look good, because they don't care about how they look to you. they be themselves.
#4 The Scream-er
These are usually the girls who run up yelling to their girl friends and are like AHHHH!!! OMG! I haven't seen you in forever! How was your summer? What did you do? To me and all other people around you, you just burst our ear drums. Thank you not like I need my ears at all. There is no reason to be screeching or screaming when you see someone you know. If you haven't seen them all summer are you really that good or friends? Like unless my friends or I am traveling I make sure I see them at least once every week. On top of that I'm talking to them almost every day. So stop screaming every time you see some one you know. You could casually just go Hey. Anything other than screaming, because all the people around you now hate you for screaming. Unless you or someone is dieing, or there's a fire I really don't want to be walking down the hall and hearing screeches every 5 minutes because you see someone you know.
#5 The MIA's
These are the people who don't show up on the first day of school. If you've never been in a class like that where someone doesn't show up the first day than that's amazing. At least one class every semester on the first day in at least one of my classes someone is MIA. Like where are you? Did you not get the memo that school started today and you're suppose to be in this class. Now they could be late or they could be a new bee. But in all my experiences they usually aren't. Sometimes they are but they aren't usually. I don't know what you're trying to accomplish by not showing up the first day of school, at least show up the first day and if you want skip the second day. (I don't support skipping. Stay in school kids)
Okay, so there's just a few of the different types of people on the first day of school. If I missed anyone comment and let me know. I might make a part 2. :) Also let me know if you are one of the types of people above. Cause hey, we all are at one point in our life. Anyways see you next time. bye.

Sunrises and Sunsets
Sunsets and sunrises. They're there everyday, at the beginning of a day and an end to a day. If you know me personally, or follow me on twitter, you'll know I LOVE sunsets and sunrises. I always try to watch the sunset, and the odd times that I'm able to be up early to enjoy the sunrise I watch it. It's kinda of a weird thing to be obsessed with, but at the same time there's something about them that I just love.
To me they have a deeper meaning. Aside from the beautiful colour's and the way the sky creates a work of art by itself, there's something mesmerizing about them. I was once asked why I love sunsets so much. I said I don't know. I just do. So I started thinking about why I loved them so much. (Here comes the mushy part) Sunrises are at the beginning of a day. They mark the start of a rand new day where you don't have to worry about what happened yesterday and focus on today and all that you can do. Sunsets work in the same way more or less. They mark the end of a day. Either a day I loved or a day that I NEVER want to think about again. I know that when I wake up tomorrow no matter what happened today I can start fresh tomorrow. So yes I know It's cliche but I can't help it. It's who I am. I like to think of it as a start and an end., and no matter what happens in between the start and end are always beautiful. I know it may not always be the case, and I may sound like someone who's like "oh don't worry what ever happens it will all turn out okay." I know that not everything turns out okay in life. But eventually something beautiful is bound to come from it. Just like a sunset coming at the end of a day. It's something beautiful that comes around.
Okay I went a little off track there. But hey what can you do?
The pictures below are all taken by me. On my phone camera of all things. But hey make do with what you got right? The pictures below are some of my favourites so enjoy! I love them and hope you do as well.
Anyways that's all I have to say right now. I hope you enjoyed it. If you like it, comment, and follow. I'll be blogging more (or trying to) so check back for new posts. If you have any ideas of what you want to see leave a comment and I'll make a blog post about it. :)

I like how the sun has created a fading affect in the sky. The pastel colour's are so pretty.
This was taken while I was out with a friend. the colours in the sky that night were so pretty i had to snap a pic.
This picture is probably one of my favourites. I took it a couple weeks ago while I was out biking. I love it! It looks like someone painted the sky. A work of art all on its own.
This one was a sunset one night when I came home from biking. I like the way the clouds look in the background.
This picture and the two below were a sunrise back in January. The colour's of the sky were so amazingly amazing. I have never sen the sky look like it did that morning.
This one is kind of zoomed in. At one point the sky looked like it was on fire! With the trees its another one of my favourite pictures.
This one is another view point of the sunrise that morning. Only wider and you can see more of the sky.
